Outline of a Portable system
How it works
- The sprinklers are strategically positioned in elevated positions to target flying embers before they can reach combustible material around your home.
- Water is supplied to the sprinklers by mains water or a Static Water Supply and a fire protection pump.
- These systems are generally manually operated in an attempt to keep things simple.

- Using our Drencher and Soaker Sprinklers together in a external fire sprinkler system gives better protection by simultaneously wetting both the building and surrounding vegetation, it provides a more comprehensive defence against bushfires.
Installation
- Portable bushfire sprinkler systems can be DIY, our Rainmakers hang off gutters or in an elevated position.
- Generally 2 to 3 Drenchers can protect the side of your home facing the fire front.
- The system can be connected to your garden tap water, or to ensure that you have pressure we recommend a fire fighting pump with a combustion engine, or a electric engine attached a generator or solar batteries.

- The cost of a portable bushfire sprinkler system depends on the size of the system, the complexity of the installation, and other factors
