 Heavy-duty 12mm (0.5") or 20mm (0.75") PVC garden hoses are recommended. Hoses should reside entirely within the active "wet zone" generated by the sprinklers to avoid melting. 

 Yes. Integrating the sprinklers with an independent petrol fire fighting pump and a static water supply (like a tank, pool, or dam) provides the safest backup system if mains water and electricity completely fail. 

 They feature an adaptable, gutter-hung mounting system. You can push them safely into place from ground level using a standard broom handle or pole adapter, avoiding dangerous roof climbing.
